BJD couch for my bbies…
One…no,make that two Divisoria trip (one,on Thursday and two, earlier this morning ) - in this heat - to buy fabric, batting, shallow hole ( wait! that’s for another project XDD)…
Six hours later…
3 hot glue sticks melted…
one excited kid who wants to jump up and down to test the durability of the couch…
one teen who couldn’t care less as long as she is comfortable…
burnt finger tips for accidentally touching the tip of the glue gun…
and IT IS DONE!
I present to you…my first DIY BJD Couch !!
Lily : Simone, if I jump on this couch would you tell Nana?
Simone: yes!
Lily: pfft!
Simone : wifi’s not working, Lily. We can’t search DoA’s tutorials.
Lily : I guess our neighbor didn’t pay their internet bill again!
Simone : oh…okey.
Simone’s props
Materials Used:
*old chopsticks*
(or banana Q stick)
*plastic bottle cap sealer
(it is round and it did the job XD)
*pink ribbon*
(safer and better than a paint)
*some red earring*
*cartolina paper*
*super glue,hot glue,scotch tape,double sided tape*
*printed clow card*
(it is the THUNDER CARD! surprise! surprise!)
I had fun making this STAR WAND and CLOW CARD for Simone and I am very happy with the result. Simone doesn’t really like to cosplay ( Lily says it is the American blood in her though I can’t see the connection since Simone is also half Japanese XD) , and she only agreed if she has a props and the color of the dress is not too bright.
You better not call the rain on Sunday, my dear!
My first DIY sandals/step-in for Simone.
My mom helped with the sewing part because I suck at it! :)
Materials used are : cork board, ribbon (or lace, depends on you), white glue ( hot glue can be used but I like white glue because it’s transparent when it dried).

Side Story about the GSP fabric my mom use; it is my GSP sash where we put badges when I was in elementary school . I didn’t know my mom still has it until I saw this GSP dress she made for Lily. :)

If you are familiar with Nana or obsessed like I am with Nana you know that line. The anime starts with Hachi’s voice saying Nee Nana…
Yazawa-sensei’s Nana has been influential to me. I love the music, the characters and the fashion…especially the fashion. I cosplayed Ousaki Nana 3-4 years ago and she is my favourite anime character to cosplay.
So now, I am channeling Nana to Simone. well, once in a while if she’s in her guitarist mode.
